The strength coaches at 2SP view each athlete’s development as a unique set of challenges. Each athlete’s attributes will vary significantly, as will their skill level, development patterns and ultimate potential. This is no less true for athletes under the age of 12. Regardless of which sport the athlete participates in, beginning performance training prior to the age of 12 is the best window of time to start. It requires a unique set of training methodologies though, but when properly applied, they can very quickly yield results likely to set young athletes apart from their untrained counterparts.
We’ve discovered this to be true within this younger population of athletes who have participated in our Unlimited Performance Training Program in an effort to rise out of the pack,
and with those trying to sustain a competitive advantage while adjusting to their natural growth and maturity.
It’s with this population in mind that we’ve extracted all of the successful strategies we’ve employed with our 12 and under athletes and created a special Unlimited Performance Training program just for them. This program addresses the constantly changing structural imbalance issues, coordination, and inefficient neuro-muscular recruitment issues many young athletes struggle with. By employing a strategy of efficient, non-load bearing resistance exercises, soft-tissue work, dynamic movement, and other methods that address the opposing qualities of improper sport-induced patterns, we can safely and effectively improve the athlete’s strength and performance capabilities in a low-risk, comprehensive way.
As with our other Unlimited Performance Training programs, each athlete is personally assessed and receives an entirely unique set of exercises to perform each time they are in our gym. They will also be given consistent attention and direction while they execute their customized program to ensure their safety and in order elicit an effective training response. Finally, as with the more advanced Unlimited Performance Training Program, the athlete’s complete course of training comes at one low monthly price. Therefore, you’ll never be overinvested or blindsided with additional costs in order to get significant training results.
